Latham – Carol D. Nolan, 81, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023. She was born in Albany to the late John and Grace Keenan. She was the sister of the late John Jr. and James Keenan.
Carol is the beloved mother of Lynn (Paul) Gallant and Matthew (Stephanie) Finnigan. She is the grandmother of Amy (John) Nielsen, Gregory Gallant (Julia Fontanelli), and Zachary Gallant (Lucia Catellier) and the great-grandmother of Emmie and Ellie Nielsen.
Carol was the manager of Capital OTB in Latham for 28 years before retiring in 2002. She was an avid Willie Nelson fan, travelling to many cities to see him in concert. She was also a fan of the New York Yankees and visited Yankee Stadium many times for games.
A graveside service will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
