Carol A. Snider
June 23, 1947 — December 30, 2018
Albany- Carol A. Snider, 71, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was the loving daughter of the late Ada Pearl Kearsing. Carol is reunited with her loving husband of 35 years, Richard Snider.
Carol loved many things especially; gardening, trips to the Racino, her dogs, playing bingo and watching religious shows with her daughter. Above all, Carol loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Ellen C. Mapes, Phyllis M. Hier (Harry), Richard J. Mapes (Kelly), Matthew A. Mapes (Donna),Scott Snider, Mike Snider and Val Snider of Vermomt. .Carol was also the loving G-Ma to many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carol also leaves to remember her, her sister, Linda Hotaling (John).
She is predeceased by her grandson, Steven Denegar and her siblings, Rosemary and Butch.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice Foundation, 310 South Manning Blvd, Albany New York 12208.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4:00pm-6:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet , New York 12189. A funeral ceremony will begin at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
