Carol Ann Walsh

NISKAYUNA- Carol Ann (Weiss) Walsh passed away on November 23, 2023. Carol was born on June 20, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Elsie and Frank Weiss.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sr., and her son, Raymond Jr., and sister Arelene Weiss.

Carol graduated from Albany Business College with an associate degree, and she dedicated four decades of her professional life to the Albany Veterans Health Care Center. She also volunteered for many years for the Schenectady Public Library, and her Catholic church. Carol was a life member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Bremser, and nephews, Albert and Michael Bremser. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Marin Waligorski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with a memorial service following at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. All are invited to attend her graveside ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 2501 Troy Schenectady Rd, Niskayuna.
