March 11, 1936 — July 25, 2022
Carola M. Riley, 86, of Castleton On Hudson, passed away on July 25, 2022 at St. Peter's Hospital.
She was born in Lewiston, ME to the late John and Leila Bourke.
Carola met the love of her life at Guptill's Skating Rink and they enjoyed over 60 wonderful years together. She was an avid bowler, and a member of the "600 club". Carola was also a lifelong member of the South Schodack Fire Dept. ladies auxillary. She was very active throughout her life and a natural athlete.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ronald in 2021.
Carola is survived by her sons, Michael (Karen) and Shawn (Jennifer), grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Samantha and Brandon, great grandchildren Layla, Hunter and Elise, as well as siblings Bertram, Mickey, Theodore and Patricia.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 1, 2022, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York.
