Carole Ann Lindell

Carole Ann Lindell, 72, of Altamont passed away peacefully on September 6th at Riverside Nursing Home in Castleton following a long illness.
She was the daughter of Joseph Halleck and Grace Rivers. She married Ronald Benjamin Lindell on September 2, 1961 and her entire married life was dedicated to being a homemaker for her large family.
In addition to her loving husband of 53 years, Carole is survived by nine children: Jennifer (Bob) Sherman, Ronald (Maureen) Lindell, Hugh Lindell, Christopher Lindell, Amanda (Jeff) Beedle, Meaghan (Justin) Truglio, Matthew (Diana) Lindell, Jason Lindell, and Carole Leigh Lindell.
She also leaves 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of Riverside Nursing Home for their excellent care.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 9:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Family and Friends may call on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
