VOORHEESVILE---Carole (Sellnow) Elmendorf, 83, passed away July 8, 2022. Carole was born on August 4, 1939, daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Ochse) Sellnow.
Carole is survived by her sons: Thomas K. (Daisy) Elmendorf, Mark E. (Mary Ellen Donnelly) Elmendorf; sister, Joan (Charles) Lighthart; brother, Paul Sellnow; brother-in-law, William (Nancy) Elmendorf; sister-in-law, Lorraine Bowen Sellnow, and grandchildren: Kyle Elmendorf, Kyra Elmendorf, and Keefe Elmendorf.
Carole was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, her daughter, Dawn Joan Elmendorf, and her brother Edward.
Carole was a communicant of New Scotland Presbyterian Church and always enjoyed visits by Reverend Holly S. Cameron. A lifelong resident of Voorheesville/Altamont, Carole loved animals more than people most of the time. She worked for the former Blue Spruce Farms and SUNY Albany for many years handling research animals.
Donations may be sent to New Scotland Presbyterian Church, General Fund, 2010 New Scotland Rd, Slingerlands, NY 12159 in Carole's memory.
A private graveside service for Carole will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
