Carolyn O. Bing

Carolyn O. Bing, 81, was called home Monday December 12, 2022. She was born in Kinderhook,NY to her father Owen Charles Burger and mother Carrie Ellen Coon. Along with her parents she is pre deceased by her loving husband Richard Bing, whom all she had been longing to be reunited with.

She is survived by her dear sister Elizabeth Cunningham. Four children William (Connie), Carol Ann, Susan and Mary Bing. Ten grandchildren Tierra, Khyrie and Saphire Whineglass, Richard, Kamron, Xavier and William Jr. Bing, Brianna Wilson, Rayanna Croley and Monee Gerard, 10 great grandchildren Leimoni and Ezra Whineglass, Zion and Gavin Chevannes, Massiah and Cairo Ramos, Ava Croley, Amya Turner, Olivia Gerard, and Ilina Bing. Niece Heather and Nephew David. Special family friends Ebony Johnson, Nancy Armstrong, Mattie Seel and a host of close friends which most she met while working as a meter maid for the City of Albany for over 30 years until her retirement.

Spending time with her family was the highlight of her days . She also enjoyed sitting outside relaxing on her bench, where she effortlessly became the center of the community. Carolyn better known as Grandma, to many, lived a life full of love, both given and received.

As she would say "Everything is gonna be alright, Honey".

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 9am-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY, 12205. Service will begin at 11am with interment following at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook, NY.
