August 7, 1933 — April 22, 2012

Carolyn Curtin, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Albany Medical Center, in the arms of her loved ones. Carolyn was born in Albany to the late John and Caroline Archer. She worked for 30 years as a Nurse with the VA medical Center in Albany. She was a devoted and loving mother for 54 years and spending time with her family and grandchildren was her greatest joy. In addition to her parents Carolyn was predeceased by her brother, John Archer.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved children; Carolyn (Tom) Archer-DiMura, Cathleen (James) LaBarge, Christopher (Janet) Curtin, Colleen Curtin, Cindy (Mark) Clemens and Clark (Kimberly) Curtin. She is the cherished grandmother of Aydan, Dacoda, Bryar, Connor, Cameron, Caitlyn, Rachele, Ciarra, Amanda, Erin, Patrick, Ryan and Cara. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9 am at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, corner of Eagle and Madison. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Albany Medical Center Children's Hospital, 43 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208.
