Sebring, Florida - Carolyn (Mickey) A. Christie, 73, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Heartland Medical Center in Sebring, FL.
Carolyn was born in Albany, NY to Elizabeth Shannon of Newport, NC and the late John Shannon.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, George Christie of Sebring, FL and her children, Donald M. (Lynn) Weaver, Michael J. Weaver, Lori (John) Byerwalters and Kim (Mario) Gabriel. She is the proud grandmother of Corie, Casey (Richard), Donald M. Jr., Justin (Nicole), Erika, Joshua, Eric and Mikayla and great grandmother of Caydon, Shannon, Cuyler, Kylie, Jayden, Calyn and Kiera. She is the sister of James (Sharon) Shannon of Newport, NC and Robert (Nancy) Shannon of Albany, NY.
A Funeral Service for Carolyn will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday at New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Garden's Cemetery.
