Carolyn Draper

COLONIE, NY – Carolyn G. Draper, 76, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at home, surrounded by her loving family and close friends, after a long illness. She was born in Schenectady and lived in Colonie for 54 years. Mrs. Draper was a member of the Colonie Elks Ladies Auxiliary #2192 and a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, traveling and crafts. Carolyn was an avid golfer and loved to golf with her husband and family. She is the beloved wife of 58 years to Harry M. Draper. She is the devoted mother of Jim (Joan) Draper of Corinth. She is the sister of Marilyn Carroll of Rotterdam. Carolyn is the cherished grandmother of Jonathan Draper of Albany and Jill Draper of Brooklyn. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Carolyn G. Draper.
