COLONIE- Carolyn F. Gifford, age 72, went home to the Arm's of Jesus on November 11, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Troy, the daughter of the late Paul and Lillian Holman.
She was predeceased by her siblings: James, Mark, and Ronald Holman and Anne Lamonte.
Carolyn was a self employed housekeeper for many families.
She enjoyed boating and waterskiing. She had a strong Christian faith and spent many hours reading her Bible, praying and encouraging others.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, David; her siblings: Paul Holman Jr., Christine Holman, twin sister Cathy Richichi, Charles Holman and Nadene Oliver. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Monday November 22, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
