Troy- Carolyn M. St. Denis, 75, passed away peacefully Friday, January 22, 2021. Carolyn was the daughter of the late Searles and Mary Jaycox and the devoted wife to the late Francis A. St. Denis. They enjoyed 12 happy years of marriage to one another.
Carolyn graduated from Mercy High School in Albany, New York, and received her Associates degree from Adirondack Community College in Queensbury, New York.
Carolyn was a proud member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Delmar, New York where she worked, volunteered her time, and made many dear friends. She also loved animals and raising money for the ASPCA.
In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them whenever they were together. She was also a proud grandmother who always looked forward to her grandchildren's in-person visits and relished talking with them on the phone.
Carolyn is survived by her two children, Lisa A. Murphy of Albany, NY and Kevin P. Murphy (Elizabeth) of Northborough, MA; grandchildren, Sean and Addy Murphy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Carolyn is predeceased by her brother, Robert W. Jaycox.
There will be a small service for immediate family members only. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ASPCA.
