Carolyn A. Terrell, 75, passed away surrounded by family on February 24th.
She was born in Albany, New York to the late Thomas and Dorothy Farrell and raised in Rensselaer until she married Lloyd S. Terrell in 1969.
After graduating high school from Saint John's Academy in 1965, Carolyn attended Saint Peter's Hospital School of Nursing graduating in 1968. She also took college courses at Maria College in Albany during nursing school Carolyn enjoyed many hobbies including knitting, crocheting and sewing. She loved to write and tell stories. She volunteered at the Senior Meal site and at the Elementary Grade School.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Lloyd and son Alan. Carolyn is survived by her children Sherry Terrell Kent (Michael), Kenneth Terrell, Shannon Terrell (Leanne) and Mary Kay Terrell, grandchildren Lucas, David, Jason and Allie Grace as well as a host of siblings, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday March 1st from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie NY.
Mass will be held on Wednesday May 22nd at 11am at Our lady of Fatima 1735 Alexander Rd, Delanson, NY 12053. Interment to follow in Grove Cemetery.
