ALBANY- Cartier Nyheem Henry Smith, precious baby 6 days old passed away surrounded by his family at Albany Medical Center.
Cartier was born on February 23, 2017, son of Lanesha Cancer and Omar Smith.
At 2 pounds and 11 ounces Cartier was a fighter and a strong little man since the day he was born. His 6 days here on earth were spent being loved and cherished by his parents, grandparents, and family. He will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed by his sweet presence.
A home going service will be held for Cartier on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10:00am at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 58 Alexander St., Albany, NY 12202. Viewing will be held from 9:00am-10:00am prior to services at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery, 680 Delaware Ave., Albany, NY 12208.
