Cassandra Lynn Walters

Cassandra L. Walters (Sandy),53, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her home. Cassandra was born in Queens, NY on October 11,1957 To the late Louis and Henrietta Walters. Cassandra's most recent employment was at Albany Medical Center as a Nurses Assistant. She enjoyed learning new things. Her Family took extreme pride in her accomplishments when she gained her GED and two College degrees. In addition to her parents Cassandra was predeceased by her brother Bobby.
Sandy leaves behind a fiancé Ralph (Mann) Beasley, three daughters Tamara(Kisha), Shanti, and Angelique , two sisters, her Special "sisters" Denise and Marie ,a host of nieces and nephews with special closeness to Duane and Maurissa. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and many relatives that will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 am at New Comer Cannon funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 9-10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen memorial park, Schenectady. A repast will be held at Capital Woods Community center 200 Lark Drive Albany, NY.
