Catherine C. Krause

COLONIE – Catherine C. Krause, 95, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at home. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Bernard H. and Elizabeth Bornhorst.
Catherine attended Our Lady Help of Christians and Mildred Elley. Aside from being a stay at home wife and mother, she also worked as a secretary for the United States Army.
Along with her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her daughters, Anna Mary, Mary Anne and Helen Anne and siblings Francis Bornhorst, Bernard Bornhorst, Mary Elizabeth Dillon, Rosemary Bornhorst Jacobs, Florence Bornhorst With, Mary Delores Bornhorst and Francis Joseph Bornhorst.
She is survived by her daughters Catherine (John) Hart-Pivacek and Arlene (Paul) Krause Pawlak; grandchildren Matthew (Suzanne), Jason, Justin and Ashley Pawlak, Cheryl Hart and Krista (Max) Bonilla and great-granddaughter Parker Bonilla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
