Catherine M. Capasso

Schenectady- Catherine M. Capasso, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022 after a short and sudden illness. She was the daughter of the late Stephen Kolacki and Florence Stumpf. Catherine was the devoted wife to the late Anthony S. Capasso.

In her early years she was a certified beautician. After meeting Anthony, she became a loving & devoted wife and mother. Catherine enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She was also a devoted catholic and loved her parish.

Catherine is survived by her sons, Michael A. (Angel) Capasso and Anthony J. Capasso; her niece, Tracy Haripal (Roger); her nephew Tim Ingersoll (Sally); her grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Saturday May 21, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm.
