Catherine Heppelle

Albany- Catherine B. Heppelle, 74, of Albany passed away on Wednesday November 29, 2006 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Charles and Esther Schermerhorn. She was an avid bingo player. Catherine was predeceased by her beloved husband Theodore, her son, Theodore and her granddaughter April Altieri.
She is the beloved mother of Catherine Altieri, Michael (Mary) Heppelle, Patricia Daniels, Robert Heppelle (Annie Stafford), Scott Heppelle and Cherie Heppelle. She is the sister of Peggy Tejiacchi, Charles (Jane) Schermerhorn and the late Shirley Garrow and Esther Schermerhorn. Catherine is the special Mom to Carol Ornoski and Mabel Lello. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A service in celebration of Catherine's life will be offered at 5:00 on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
