Schenectady – Catherine Kurtzner, 82, passed away Saturday May 17, 2008 at St. Clare's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Catherine was born in Albany May 30, 1925 and has been a capital district resident most of her life. She was a homemaker to her husband, John, whom predeceased her in 2002 and like playing bingo and enjoyed her scratch off tickets. She mostly enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. Catherine will be greatly missed.
Catherine is survived by her children; Diane Cusack, Jack (Jamie) Kurtzner and Jill (Richard) Saxby, her grandchildren; Jessica (Chad) Mayette, Jeffrey Cusack, Craig Kurtzner, Kasie Saxby and Thomas Saxby and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Clare's Hospital 2 South and Dr. Michael Welch for the wonderful care shown to Catherine and to them during these difficult times.
