Catherine L Lipkin

Catherine Weyl Lipkin, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 13, 2010 at St. Peters Hospice Inn surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born in Collingdale, PA. to Joseph and Catherine Lamoureux. She was a graduate from Temple University School of Nursing and furthered her career at Bellevue Hospital and St. Clare's Hospital. She loved to travel, take walks on the beach, a great card game and gardening. However her greatest passion was to her family.
In addition to her parents Catherine was predeceased by her husband's; Robert Balch and Dr. Thomas J. Weyl II; and her brother, David Lamoureux.
Catherine is survived by her husband, of 29 years Leslie Lipkin; her children; Robert H. Weyl, Thomas J. Weyl III, Gregory D. Weyl, Kathleen M. Weyl, Joseph A. Weyl, Lesley Cammarere and Laurie Cappuccio. She is the loving grandmother of; Alicia, Nicholas, Heather, Thomas IV, Laura, Shane, Alexandra, Rachel, Joe, Elizabeth, Eric and great-grandmother of Emily. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Lamoureux.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday at 5pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd (Rt. 5 south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 2 to 5 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd. Loudonville, NY or to the March of Dimes, Attn: DRFR 1275 Mamaroneck Ave. White Plains, NY 10605 in Catherine's honor.
