Catherine Perkins

East Greenbush~ Catherine Perkins was born in Moore County, North Carolina on February 24, 1940. After a gradual decline in health, she transitioned from labor to reward on August 28, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents Caesar Edward Perkins, Sr. and Lillie Louise Pearson Perkins; her brothers Willie, Murdick, Charlie, Calvin, and Caesar Edward Perkins, Jr; sisters, Alberta Sullivan, Lillie Mae Blue.


Catherine leaves to cherish her memory, two sons Andrew (Rachel) Perkins of Bronx, NY, Rodney Hart of New Haven, CT; three daughters Leah (Gregory) Slaughter of Albany, NY, Linda (James) Thomas of Camden, SC, and Ann Simmons of High Point, NC; and one sister, Betty Taylor of Aberdeen, NC; She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Janell Perkins, Janay Perkins, Aaron Perkins, Mia Perkins, Elijah Slaughter, Sheldon, Simmons, Jacqueline Bruton, J'von Thomas, Latoya Thomas-Vida; and her great-grandchildren, Zephaniah Freeman, Liam Freeman, Athena Perkins A'Malie Perkins, Demarius and Kellen Bruton, Kynlee Simmons, Lalana Contrina, and Zander Thomas-Vida and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
