Albany- Catherine Jeanette Stone, 76, passed away Saturday September 23, 2006 after a brief illness. She was born in Laurens South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thomas and Addie Perrin
Mrs. Stone began her nursing career at the Home for the Incurable in Albany's south end before continuing her nurturing care to help the sick at Albany Memorial Hospital. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Lonnie B. Stone and her daughter, Sandra L. Williams.
She is survived by two adoring sons, Jerry Brown Jr. and Jones Walker Jr of Albany; her daughter, Elaine Walker of Schenectady. She is the sister of Isaiah Perrin of NYC and Mary Rachel Robinson of Buffalo and the late Addie Lee. Loving aunt of Mary Lee Jefferson and Ola Cee Mobley and Rev. Pastor William P. (Cheryl) Anderson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a loving host of cousins, great nieces and nephews and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at Graceland Cemetery in Albany. Expressiosn of sympathy may be made to Newcomerfamily.com
