Catherine T. Adams

NORTH BETHLEHEM - Catherine Adams of North Bethlehem, NY departed this life on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her home. She was 93 and had lived a long life very well.
Catherine was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and even made long trips to visit her great-grandchildren in her 80's. She was an avid reader and liked to solve puzzles and games. She was also a doll collector and acquired a substantial collection. Her craft ability was displayed by her works in crochet. Catherine loved to travel and make friends and was a travel and social club member. In her working years Catherine was a highly successful sales representative for Sears.
Catherine is survived by her sisters, Joan and Gerry of Pennsylvania. Catherine's surviving children are son Robert and his wife Nancy of Colorado, and son Donald of Albany. Robert's sons and Catherine's grandsons are Bradley and his wife Wendy of Colorado and Michael and his wife Jamie of Washington. Donald's daughter and Catherine's granddaughter is Samantha, of Albany. Catherine's great-grandchildren are Cade and Abigail of Colorado. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1985.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
