Catherine Morrison Wyatt, 54, passed into eternal life on Friday January 29, 2021. Cathy was born on September 25, 1966 to James and Alberta Morrison. She was a graduate of Colonie High School and later Maria College, where she studied business management.
Cathy took great pride in the AYCO Company which she worked for the last 35 years and devoted many hours. She shared a love of sports cars with her mother. Cathy was involved in organized sports most of her life as she was both athletic and competitive. Music was Cathy's passion constantly making playlists for gatherings, attending concerts and organizing house concerts for up-and-coming artists to play for family and friends.
She met her beloved husband Woodrow 36 years ago when they were working at Toys R' Us. They were married for 32 years, and were a perfect balance to each other. Her family were her friends, and her friends were her family.
She is survived by her father James Morrison, husband Woodrow Wyatt, children Stephanie (Ron) Wyatt, Jonathan (Bree) Wyatt Brothers Jim (Sharon) Morrison , Bob (Valerie) Morrison Her brother's children Jimmy, Miranda, Anthony, Nick, Dan whom she loved as her own, and her beloved loyal Kitty "Finch".
A visitation will be held Thursday February 4th, from 5pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road Colonie, NY, with a funeral to follow Friday at 10am. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Schenectady. Social distance practices are in effect and masks are required in the building.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue Menands NY, 12204 or Community Hospice Foundation, 315 S. Manning Blvd Albany NY, 12208.
