ALBANY – Cecelia A. "Angie" Day, 67, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Delhi, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Marie McGrade.
Angie retired from the New York State Office of the State Comptroller with over 25 years of service. She was a lover of cats, having sheltered many homeless felines. Angie loved her garden, cross-stitching, crocheting, and sewing.
Angie will be missed by a host of family and friends.
A private service for family will be held at their convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, One Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110 or Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in Angie's name.
