Schenectady-Cedric I. Farrar Sr., "Sudz" 80, passed away on April 22, 2022 surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 31, 1941 son of the late H. Wayne and Leona (Merrill) Farrar.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Sudz was a lifelong member of the Guan Ho Ha Fish and Game Club in Glenville, NY where he leaves behind many friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved nature and the outdoors. Sudz worked for many years as a Master Butcher at Edelweiss Veal. He will be very dearly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Leitha "Ma" Farrar I; their children, Anthony J. Farrar, Cedric I Farrar Jr., Leitha A. Farrar II (Kevin), JoyLynn Mutchock (Charles), Marie F. Clay; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 4-7pm at New Comer Creamtions & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
