Charen R. Labello

Albany - Charen LaBello, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Born December 7, 1946 in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Grace Wigand. She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas and brother William Wigand. She is survived by her daughter Tracy LaMoy and husband Leon, daughter Lisa DeSano, and daughter Tammy Price and husband Brian; grandson William LaMoy and wife Alex, granddaughter Jessica LaMoy, and grand-puppy Bella; and sister-in-law Geraldine Wigand, brother-in-law Frederick Adriance and wife Sarah; sister-in-law Carol Humphrey and husband Roger, and brother-in-law Joseph Adriance and his late wife Valerie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Charen graduated from Albany Business College and worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She also loved teaching the art of ceramics and was blessed by the many close relationships through it.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens. Calling hours held on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
