Charlene A. Fennessey

COLONIE- Charlene A. Fennessey, age 72, passed away on August 5, 2023 at Evergreen Commons.
She was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Florence Fennessey.
Charlene graduated from Colonie Central High School and Albany School of Practical Nursing. She was an LPN for 41 years, retiring from the Teresian House.
She enjoyed taking trips to Vermont and Rockport. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, the NY Yankees and QVC.
Charlene is survived by her siblings: Karen Warzek (Michael) of East Schodack, NY and Charles Fennessey (Rose) of Saratoga Springs, NY; nieces: Leigh and Samantha and nephews: (Godson) Michael and Paul; two great nieces, Madeline and Elizabeth; and her good friend of over 50 years, Carol Wade-Gordon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Friday August 11, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her services following at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
Memorial contributions in Charlene's memory may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
