Charlene A. Moore

October 6, 1951 — March 19, 2023

LATHAM-

Charlene A. Moore, 71, wife of John L. Moore of Latham, died unexpectedly on March 19, 2023, at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born October 6, 1951, in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Carmen Langlais and George Nedoroscik.

Charlene attended Shenedehowa High School in Clifton Park. She later worked for the Albany County Department of finance for 30 years. Charlene lived for her family and always was present for her children, and grandchildren's school and life events throughout the years. She enjoyed spending time outside taking care of her turtle pond and sat by the fire every Friday, and Saturday night rain or shine. After spending time outside, she had a ritual of having movie nights with her husband John, whom she spent every day enjoying her time with. She was well known throughout the neighborhood, and everyone knew she'd be out at the same time every morning with her little dog Rita, whom she loved dearly. Charlene also spent time enjoying movie dates with her best friend, and sister, Christine Nedoroscik, and lunching with her friend Sue Parker.

She is survived by her husband, and best friend John; as well as her little dog Rita of Latham; her daughters, Kaysie Moore (Brian), and Taylor Moore-Dunkelbarger (Eric); grandchildren, Mason Sullivan, Makenzie Garceau, Alice Dunkelbarger, and Johnny Dunkelbarger, all of Latham. She is also survived by her sisters, Christine Nedoroscik, Mary Ellen Economos, Susan Rogers, and Nancy Honsinger; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to express a special thank you to Rosemary Moore, Theresa O'Neil, Cheryl Dunkelbarger, and Kelly Garceau for the exceptional help given to the family during this time of need.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Thursday, March 23, from 4-6 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy-Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189.

Memorial donations in Charlene's name may be made to The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society https://mohawkhumane.org/ways-give.
