Charles Leroy Addison, 66 of Albany, NY, passed away unexpectedly on May 9th, 2024.

Charles was born on July 26th, 1957 to Roosevelt Addison and Helen Addison in Albany, NY. Charles was a proud and loving father, brother, and grandfather. He graduated from Albany High School in Albany, NY. He served proudly in the United States Army. He was proud to be a Veteran. He loves to wear his Army hats and accessories. Charles loved to spend time with his family and close friends. He loved to cook a great meal. He loved to play around with his grand children. He also loved to have conversations with his various family members. Charles was full of wisdom and knowledge.

Left to cherish Charle's memories are: his wife Latonya Mason and former Joyce Broooks; his siblings Melody McGill (Charlotte, North Carolina), Kimberly Addison (Utica, NY), Benita Addison (Albany, NY), Shawn Addison (Albany, NY), Rodney Addison (Albany, NY), and Jason Addison (Albany, NY); his children Nia Addison (Utica, NY), Dominic Mason(Albany, NY), Octavia Mason (Minneapolis, Minnesota), Dennis Mason (Albany, NY); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family and friends.

Charle's is predeceased by: his parents Roosevelt and Helen Addison; brother Actris Addison and sisters Belinda Addison (Porkey) and Deirdre Patterson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 930am at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
