Charles J. Bauer, 86, of Albany, passed away on April 19, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital .
Born in Albany, he was the son of Charles J. Bauer Sr. Charles worked for The NYS Office of General Services. He enjoyed bowling and gambling. He loved to go to the casinos and Las Vegas.
In addition to his father, Charles was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Alice.
Charles is survived by his loving daughter Lisa Ann Tice, son Charles Michael Bauer, Ellen Grace (David), grandchildren Zachary Charles Michael Valentina, and Alyssa Marie Valentina.
The family would like to thank the staff on 5 McAuley at St. Peter's Hospital, in particular June Teets, Emily Nagel, Amy Wachtel, Amy Brennan, Sophie Li, Karen Grignon, Kimberly Garcelon, Patti Huck, Robert Jai McMichael and Vivette Green.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 9:30 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Colonie, New York.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 11:30 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - Colonie Chapel.
Interment to follow at Memory Gardens.
