Rotterdam – Charles R. Boiani, 50, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday September 10, 2014. Born in Schenectady, he is the son of the late
Eugene and Lorraine Boiani.

Chuck worked for the Albany County Sheriff's Department as a Corrections Officer for 27 years, before retiring in 2010. He enjoyed vacationing with his family in Newport, R.I. and watching sports especially his beloved New York Jets.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 28 years, Leslie Boiani; his children, Brian Boiani and DeAnna Boiani; his brothers, Eugene "Skeets" Boiani, Ed Boiani and his twin brother Sam Boiani; his mother-in-law Doris McNulty; his father-in-law Bob Guido; and his sister-in-law Lisa (Bruce) Flood. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Calling hours for Chuck will be held Saturday September 13, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. A memorial service will commence at 2 p.m.

Those wishing to remember Chuck in a special way may make memorial contributions in his name to the Rotterdam EMS, 2007 Cardiff Rd. Schenectady, NY 12303.
