Charles C. Holtz

Charles Clinton Holtz, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at his home. Charles proudly served with the United States Navy and was a member for over 58 years with the First Presbyterian Church of Schenectady. He worked for many years with Trustco Bank in Schenectady and with O.D.HECK.

In addition to his parents John and Mary Holtz, Charles was predeceased by his loving wife, Doris (Taylor) Holtz, his brother, John "Jack" Holtz, his grandson, Nathan Holtz and his son-in-law, Douglas Senn.

Charles is survived by his cherished children, Thomas (Karen) Holtz, Christine Senn and Daniel (Kristi) Holtz. He is the adored grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 5.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
