Charles A. Catizone

Albany- Charles A. Catizone, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Ralphael and Cosima Catizone. Charles was the devoted husband to the late Brenda Catizone. They were married 50 years.
After graduating from high school, Charles enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve where he served eight years until his honorable discharge in 1962.
Charles enjoyed vacationing at Wildwood, New Jersey. He enjoyed watching the Yankees and the Giants play. Charles volunteered at St. Patrick's soup kitchen, loved his vegetable gardens, but most of all loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his children, Craig Catizone, Belinda Catizone, Mark Catizone and Dawn LaPointe. He is the cherished grandfather of, Nick, Emily (Ricky) Shafer, Gage, Daniel, Eric, Ryan and Tyler.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, New York on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am with burial to immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery, 481 Rte 9W, Glenmont, NY 12077.
