COLONIE – Charles Vincent Faragon, Sr., 81, a kind, loving, generous husband and father, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2006, with his family by his side. During World War II, Charles proudly served his country as a Naval gunner and was involved in the Invasion of Normandy. Mr. Faragon was a supervisor at Tobin Packing Company for 38 years until its closing. He continued to work part-time after his retirement at Northway Auto Exchange until his passing. Charles is the beloved husband of Theodora Faragon. He is the devoted father of Michael Faragon, Madalynne Warner and her husband, Larry and Charles Faragon, Jr. and his wife, Christine. He is the devoted grandfather of Monica, Toni and Charles, III. Also surviving is his great-granddaughter, Brianna Mae. Charles is deeply loved and will be missed.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at the family's home. Expressions of sympathy may be made at newcomerfamily.com
