ROTTERDAM – Charles “Chuck” Frye, 73, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at home after a short battle with cancer.
He was born in Altoona, PA on December 22, 1950 to the late William and Corrine Frye. Chuck had worked for GE for over forty years and retired to take care of his soulmate, Linda.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, desserts, candy, ice cream and going to Maine with his wife and late in laws, Anthony and Marion Phillips.
Chuck would have been married 54 years in August to his late wife, Linda.
Chuck was a devoted and loving father to Christina (Brian) Cook. He loved his brother in law, Michael (Carol) Phillips like he were his own brother. He was the best Poppy to Angelica and Zander Cook.
Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 11 at the funeral home. Committal will follow at Memory Gardens.
