Charles G. Gauthier

COLONIE- Charles George Gauthier, 75, of Colonie, died on Wednesday evening at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Charles H. and Lena Andrews Gauthier.
Mr. Gauthier had worked for Central Dairy, Normanskill Dairy, Crowley Dairy and Crestwood Market before his retirement. He was a member of the Colonie Elks #2192.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Mulligan Gauthier; his children, Bobbie Swiatek, Charles (Donna) Gauthier, Diana (Ken) Krueger. Mark (Myrtle) Gauthier all of Colonie, Dave (Nancy) Gauthier of Parksburg, PA, Sandy (Bill) Lasher of Rotterdam and Charlene Powell, Jeanne Morris of Schodack. He is the brother of Robert Gauthier and the late Rosetta Jensen, Howard and Harold Gauthier. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:00 at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
