Charles H. Denaker

June 30, 1929 — April 13, 2015

Denaker, Charles (Charlie) H., 86 passed away April 13 at Van Renneslear Manor, Troy, NY. He was predeceased by Beatrice, his wife of 48 years. They lived in Sycaway for 35 years; later moving to the Rouse Senior Living for 12 more happy years. Charles was born to Charles S. and Anna Denaker of Troy and attended Troy High School. He retired from Whitehurst Press, Troy, NY in 1987. Charlie was an avid bowler, baseball player and camper. He attend Our Lady of Victory Church and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his sons John Denaker and James Denaker (Millie); grandsons Steven, Rickie, Andrew (Charity) and Jonathan (Amanda) Denaker; great-grandchildren Luke, Cora and Cailin Denaker. The family would like to thank the staff at Van Renneslear Manor for the exceptional care that Bea and Charlie received during their time at the Manor.
Calling hours will be held Monday April 20th 2015 from 10:00am-12:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home. A service will be held at 12:00pm. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy, NY. To leave a message for the family online please visit NewComerAlbany.com.
