COLONIE- Charles J. Coleman, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
Chuck was born on March 19, 1936 to the late Otis and Anna Coleman in Albany, NY. Chuck retired from Freihofer's Baking Company after 25 years of service. Chuck was a proud Marine and a 58 year member of the Capt. WM. Dale O'Brien Marine Corps League, in which he served as commandant 1975-1976. He also was a pedigree Devil Dog. He loved watching his Yankees, and spending time with his grandkids. Chuck was also a lifetime member of the Polish American Citizens Club.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Theresa A. Coleman, and his brother; Otis (Sylvia), Thomas (Ann), and John "Jack" (Margaret) Coleman.
He is survived by his children; Rosanne (Greg) Schuh, and Lisa-Anne (John) Zocco, his grandchildren; Abigail Schuh, and Christopher and Evan Zocco, his sisters; Dora Ann (Frank) Raiti, Bertha Mae (Joseph) Papale, Marilyn (Daniel) Wilson, and Rosemarie (Anthony) Valle and extended family and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY 12211 at 10:00am on Friday, June 3, 2016. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
