DELANSON, NY – Charles J. Talbot, 86, passed away peacefully at home, in the arms of his grandson, Tristan, on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. He was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late William and Theresa Talbot. Mr. Talbot was a self-employed carpenter and contractor. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ann Talbot and his sister, Georgianna Sindoni. Charles is the father of Ronald Talbot and his wife, Pam, Pam Coons and her husband, Casey and Terryann Talbot-Moses and her husband, Bill. He is the grandfather of Tristan, Paul, Shawn, Scott and Colleen and great-grandfather of Alexis and Ashley. Also surviving is a close family friend, Sheri Myers as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be In Fisher Cemetery, Rotterdam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Charles J. Talbot.
