WATERVLIET- Charles W. "Hap" Miles, age 64, passed away after a long illness at Samaritan Hospital on November 12, 2021.
He was born in South Troy, the son of the late Leon and Anna Miles.
Hap loved to garden and was an avid music collector.
Hap is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Katherine; brother, William; sister, Diane Alendorph; and grandchildren: Brayden Miles, Trinity Miles and Lexus Blanchard. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Belle Avenue, Troy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Hap's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110.
