Guilderland- Charles C. "Chuck" Miltner, 73, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2017. He was born on December 2, 1943 in Schenectady, NY and was the son of the late Charles and Eleanor (Smith) Miltner. Chuck was the beloved husband of 46 years to Janice (Borovicka) Miltner. He honorably and faithfully served his country in the US Army from 1963 to 1966. After his service he began his career at General Electric in Schenectady. He worked his up to specialist in the gas turbine division, working in both Schenectady and Greenville, SC. Chuck was a true family man, his life revolved around his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. He was a selfless man who would do anything to help those in need. He was always quick to greet you with his charming smile. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Janice; his two daughters: Tracey (Troy) Curran and Jamie (Alan) Patterson; his son, Robert Miltner; his grandchildren: Taylor, Nicole, Cheyenne, Cambren and Chandler; his great-granddaughter, Rylie; his siblings: Carol (Dick) Tubbs, Terry (Karen) Miltner, Gary (Lisa) Miltner and Linda (Dick) Dexter; his sister-in-law Leni Miltner; his brother-in-law John (Rhonda) Borovicka and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his brother Marty Miltner.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 11am at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY.
