Charles P. Richardson, Sr.

ALBANY- Charles (Chuck) P. Richardson Sr., 58, of Albany passed away suddenly on Saturday December 20, 2008 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Albany and is the son of Vincenta Richardson and the late James Richardson. Chuck served in the US Navy as a young man. He was a self employed plumber in Albany for several years. He moved to Colorado and met the love of his life, Donna Griffith who sadly predeceased him in 2003. Chuck enjoyed hunting, camping and deep sea fishing. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren. Chuck's family extends their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Mike and Kathy Follett for the friendship and unwavering support.
He is the beloved father of Robin Young (Scott), Rhonda Houghtaling (Frank), Renee Houghtaling, Loretta Petriccione (Christopher), Charles Richardson Jr. (Donna) and Chad Richardson. He is the brother of James Richardson (Margaret) and the uncle of Stephanie and James Richardson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 soon to be great grandchild.
A celebration of Chuck's life will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
