Saratoga Springs – Charles R. Burmaster, Sr., 66, passed away peacefully Friday February 19, 2010 at Saratoga Springs Hospital.
Charles was born in Troy the son of the late Mary Edna Wager and was a lifelong area resident. Charles was a blaster in the construction business for many years and then owned and operated the Schuyler Pub in Watervliet. He was a strong, hard working man who was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his children: Lisa Halek, Laura Mazur, Charles R. Burmaster, Jr., Brenda Burmaster and Christine Burmaster, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and brother John Gregware.
The funeral service will be Tuesday 11:00am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Jean's Cemetery.
