Charles R. Pelton, Jr.
October 29, 1946 — July 12, 2016
Albany- Charles R. Pelton Jr., 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Charles was the son of the late Charles R. Pelton Sr., and Patricia Dame Pelton and was the devoted companion to Nancy Bombard.
Charles enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with family, and watching Yankees games and Nascar.
Charles will be forever missed by his loving companion: Nancy; children: Charles R. (Liane) Pelton III, Tammy (Mark) Wright, Leah Flint, and Shane (Kayla) Pelton; siblings: Michael (Joyce) Pelton, Joseph Pelton, William (Karen) Pelton, Ruthann Benedict, Patsy (Larry) Goble and Janice (Jim) Libertucci; 8 grand children; 2 great grand children; along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Charles is predeceased by his brother: Patrick J. Pelton; and sister: Eileen Hirsch.
Calling Hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on Sunday July 17th, 2016, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 18th at 11:00 am at Christ Our Light Church, with the burial to follow Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in Charles' name to the National Kidney Foundation.
