Charles Thomas Scott

Charles (Chuck) Thomas Scott, 74, of Johnsonville, NY passed away on December 8, 2023, in Albany, New York. Born on April 7, 1949 in Rutland, Vermont. Chuck was a kind-hearted man with a quick wit.
Chuck was a loving husband to Nadia Stadnyk and a cherished brother to Bruce Scott (Barbara) of Poultney, Vermont, Ron Scott (Deborah) of Bakersfield, California and the late Edgar Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ella Scott. Chuck is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Chuck attended Poultney High School and went on to further his education at the University of Vermont, graduating in 1971. He was a 3 sport star athlete in Poultney and played baseball at UVM.
For over 60 years, Chuck worked as a carpenter, initially learning the craft from his father. His work took him to various locations, including the Adirondacks, Vermont, the Capital District, and New Jersey.
Chuck began hunting and fishing at an early age and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fly fishing in Montana and deer hunting in Maine.
Charles Scott will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and dedication to his craft. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
