Charles Lewies "Chuck" Strouse, Jr.

Averill Park- Charles Lewies Strouse, Jr., 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of Charles and Yvette Strouse. Chuck was the devoted husband to Marie R. Strouse. They were married 39 years.
Chuck worked as a Tractor Trailer Driver for Hannaford for 20 years until his retirement. He drove approximately two million miles achieving one million accident free miles.
Chuck enjoyed spending time with his entire family and camping with them. He loved maintaining his pickup truck. Chuck loved his Stewarts coffee.
In addition to his wife and parents, Chuck is survived by his sons, Nick C. (Veronica Fuda) Strouse and Jason R. (Cindy) Strouse; grandson, Colton H. Strouse; sister, Laura (Jared) Austin; nephew, Michael Blendell; nieces, Victoria Ralston and Anna Austin; uncles, Rondald (Cindy) Strouse of Cambridge, Maine and Gary (Sue) Schol of Bayshore, New York; several cousins; and many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at NYOH Troy, Albany Medical Center, D3 and C6 units, and Dr. A Bernstein of AMC Urology for the kind compassionate care they provided to Chuck and his family. Marie and Jason would also like to thank the FMS staff at the Albany VA Medical Center for their support.
