NISKAYUNA - Charlotte Distel "Mom", "Oma" was called home to our lord on the the morning of Tuesday June 9th 2021 at Kingsway Manor Schenectady NY.
Charlotte was born in Germany to Conrad and Francis Fink July 14,1933.
Charlotte was a graduate of Cazenovia College Where she received degrees in nutrition and education, she also attended University of New Hampshire.
Charlotte lived in many States including New Jersey, Washington State and Virginia.
Her interest included hiking, biking, skiing, tennis, pickle ball, Kayaking, theater, music and much more . She was an avid member of the Schenectady winter sports club and had many many great friends. She also devoted a lot of time to her artwork and loved taking care of her animals.
She is survived by her daughter Renate, son-in-law, Michael; granddaughter, Samantha, and great grandchildren Dean, Michael and Jack Robert.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
