August 4, 1928 — April 9, 2021

Colonie- Charlotte M. Murphy, 92 passed away peacefully on the morning of April 9, 2021. Born in Scotia she was the daughter of the late Howard and Minnie Van Patten.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 71 years, George W. Murphy.

Charlotte loved crafting and made and sold with the help of George many unique items.

She also was an active member of Lisha's Kill Reformed Church up until her and George started to travel the countryside. Which created many wonderful memories and stories they would share.

In addition to her husband, Charlotte is survived by her children; Jeffrey W. Murphy (Patty Hutchins) and Linda S. Brown (spouse Leonard). Her grandchildren: Jeremiah Murphy, David Sullivan (spouse Pamela) , Ashley J. Reyda ( spouse Michael) , Joshua N. Brown. Her great grandchildren: Parker Nichols, Quentin Reyda, and Charlotte Reyda.

She also leaves her very fond nieces and nephew: Diana VanPatten, Debbie Steinbar, Dawn Lechuga and Bruce VanPatten and their families.

She will also be missed by her fur family "Lucy and Forest".

Charlotte is predeceased by her brother John VanPatten and wife Joyce VanPatten.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes, one of her favorite charities.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 15th 2021 at 11:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

We are extremely blessed to have had a mother, wife, grandma and best friend. She is now sharing all of that kindness and love in Heaven.
