Charlotte Steffen

ROTTERDAM – Charlotte D. Steffen, 82, of Rotterdam, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, after a brief illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Charlotte McMahon. Mrs. Steffen lived in Schenectady for all of her life. She was a devoted Christian. Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Steffen. She is the devoted mother of Barbara Cole, Deborah Tedesco and Kelly Gugliuzza, all of Schenectady. She is the cherished grandmother of Melissa Hauser of North Chatham, Gina Sausville of Slingerlands and Gabrielle Lazinski, Justin Manley, Jenna Manley and Michael Gugliuzza, all of Schenectady. She is the loving great-grandmother of Madolyn Lazinski and Mackenzie Sausville. Charlotte is the sister-in-law of Marion Steffen of Guilderland and Daniel Monaco of Naples, FL.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Charlotte D. Steffen.
